Privacy Policy

UCNICNU keeps the data story simple: collect only what is useful, explain why it is used, and give visitors clear choices around optional analytics.

Last updated: May 2026

What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how UCNICNU handles information collected through this website, including email signups, contact forms, support flows, music pages, and future direct download purchases.

This is a practical starter policy for the current music site. If UCNICNU adds accounts, memberships, uploads, advanced analytics, or AI tools, this policy should be reviewed and updated.

Notice at collection

When you use this website, UCNICNU may collect the categories of information described below so the site can operate, respond to requests, process purchases or donations, provide downloads, prevent abuse, and send updates you ask to receive.

The site does not require an account for normal browsing. Optional analytics stay off unless you allow them in Cookie Preferences.

Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message content, purchase details, support requests, and mailing list preferences.

We may also collect limited technical information such as device type, browser type, approximate location, pages visited, referral source, and basic usage events when analytics are enabled.

How we use information

We use information to respond to messages, send requested updates, operate the site, process purchases and donations, provide download access, prevent abuse, improve the music experience, and understand which pages and calls to action are working.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use visitor information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers

UCNICNU may use service providers such as Cloudflare for hosting, security, and analytics; Supabase for database, storage, and backend services; Stripe for payments; email providers for messages and list management; and music platforms such as Spotify and YouTube for external listening experiences.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by UCNICNU.

Cookies and analytics choices

The site uses essential browser storage for preferences such as theme and cookie choices. Optional analytics only load after a visitor allows analytics in the cookie preferences panel.

If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is intended to provide privacy-focused website metrics. Visitors can decline optional analytics from the cookie banner or change their choice later from the footer.

Email and marketing

If you join the mailing list, UCNICNU may send release updates, direct download notices, merch announcements, videos, and related music news.

Marketing emails should include a way to unsubscribe. You can also contact UCNICNU to request removal from the list.

Privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information.

To make a privacy request, use the Contact page or email hello@ucnicnumusic.com. You can also reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer to allow or decline optional analytics. UCNICNU will respond as reasonably required by applicable law.

California privacy notice

For California visitors, UCNICNU may collect identifiers, contact information, commercial information, internet activity information, approximate location, and messages you send to the site, depending on how you use the website.

UCNICNU uses this information for the purposes described in this policy. UCNICNU does not sell personal information and does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, the site should be updated with a clear Do Not Sell or Share choice before that activity begins.

EEA and UK visitors

For visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, UCNICNU processes information based on consent, contract performance, legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as security, site operation, support, and basic business records.

Optional analytics are consent-based in this site implementation. You can decline analytics from the cookie banner or reopen Cookie Preferences from the footer.

Data retention and security

UCNICNU keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, business records, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

No website can guarantee perfect security, but UCNICNU works to protect private files, environment secrets, payment flows, and backend systems from unnecessary exposure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child provided personal information, contact UCNICNU so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
